  • Region 13 Meeting

    Duke's Beta Epsilon Chapter is part of Region 13. Please see Judith's message below regarding the upcoming meeting!

    2. The save-the-date flyer for the upcoming Region 13 virtual conference has been sent. The event will be held on February 15th from 12 to 1:30 pm. Free CEUs will be provided. The registration link will be sent next week. 

    3. The Regional Recognition (STAR) form has been posted in the Circle. Self-nominations are allowed.

    4. I will post the meeting agenda for the January 24th meeting by January 17th.

  • Success! Region 13 Chapters Challenge Finishes

    Success!

    Sigma Region 13 ‘Chapters Challenge for Covid Relief’ 

    The Beta Epsilon chapter would like to congratulate our neighboring chapters for their donations to their communities such as food, cleaning supplies, diapers, feminine hygiene, clothing. The Region donated over $3700!

  • Fall Induction Success via Zoom-

    Beta Epsilon welcomed our newest members on Nov 12 and offered partial financial support for their membership fee to the first 100. Giving back to our newest members, mostly students, seemed appropriate to the board. Here is the induction recording!
  • Beta Epsilon Featured on Biennial Convention Website!

    The Beta Epsilon chapter will sponsor a charging station at this year's Biennial Convention, November 16-20 in Washington D.C. Our very own Brigit Carter (Treasurer) and Jackie Howard (Non-Officer Director) will represent our chapter! Check us out at the link below.
  • Beta Epsilon Leaders Attend Sigma's Healthy Work Environment Conference!

    Beta Epsilon member Dr. Brett Morgan, and our very own Awards Committee and Leadership Succession Committee Chairs, Drs. Benjamin Smallheer and Margie Molloy, presented at Sigma's Healthy Work Environment conference in New Orleans. The title of their project is "Leading an Initiative to Address Gender-Associated Incivility in Nursing Education." Congratulations to our chapter member and leaders!
